About Rie Morita
Hello, everyone! はじめまして(Hazimemashite)! Nice to meet you! My name is Rie Morita from Tokyo, Japan, and I'm excited to be your Japanese teacher. Let me tell you a bit about myself and how I got here.
For the past ten years, I've lived in different parts of the world. I started out pursuing ballet, which led me to spend four and a half years in Germany, training at a top ballet school. After that, I worked as a ballet dancer with three different companies in Germany and the Czech Republic.
Living in other countries has been amazing. I've met people from all over and visited many places. I've also met people who love Japan and its culture. Being part of this global community, where English is often spoken, made me realize how important it is to learn the language of the place you're in. It's a way to understand the culture, history, and people better.
My Journey as a Japanese Teacher
By chance, a language school noticed how much I enjoy Japanese and asked me to teach it to people from other countries. I thought it was a great opportunity to share not only the language but also Japan's interesting history. I happily agreed, and now, after several years, I really enjoy teaching Japanese at language schools and in private lessons.
As a Japanese teacher, my goal is to not only help you learn the language but also to introduce you to Japan's interesting culture and history. I'm excited to start this learning journey with you and show you all the cool things about Japan. Let's have fun exploring the Japanese language together!
